The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate my knowledge and expertise of Biology. Under each tab, lab reports, vocabulary quizzes and tests are attached to validate the understanding of each topic. We have covered a variety of topics such as cells and cell division, molecules and membranes, enzymes, DNA and protein synthesis, transport and gaseous exchange, interrelationships, and the function of the heart. For the last three quarters of AICE Biology, I have maintained an A average, and plan to continue this trend through the fourth quarter.
About Me:
My name is Matthew Boward and I attend Potomac Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. I am very involved in sports and clubs at my school; I am on varsity lacrosse, cross country, and indoor track, and I am involved in Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and Key Club. I consider myself a student athlete, and in that order. Being very organized, punctual, and analytical, I strive for the best and try to exemplify it in my work. During the Fall, I will be attending Virginia Tech and plan to study Economics in the Pamplin School of Business.
